Alaine Chartrand of Prescott, Ontario finished seventh at the Junior Grand Prix event in Lake Placid NY.
Sitting in ninth place after the short program, Alaine pulled up two spots and earned a total of 133.43 points to end up in seventh. This was her first international event.
Alaine will also compete at the 2012 JGP Croatia Cup, which takes place in Zagreb, Croatia from October 4th to 6th.
