Several Ontario skaters and coaches attended the NextGen camp, held Sept 28-Oct 1, 2016, which was conducted as part of the Skate Canada Summer Series program. The singles skaters in top 10 of the series in Pre-Novice, Novice and the top 5 in Junior were invited to attend the camp. If an athlete couldn’t attend this event an alternate was invited as a substitute. Each athlete had to come with their coach as they were all involved in multiple on ice and off ice classes and sessions. The Camp ran in conjunction with the Skate Canada Autumn Classic International event which also took place in Montreal from Sept 28-Oct 1, 2016.
